Do I need to leave a deposit?
Standard cars do not require a deposit. Special categories may have specific guarantees: check the conditions of your category and rate before confirming.
Do the cars have an insurance excess?
Standard cars with up to five seats include collision damage cover without an excess, subject to the exclusions in the conditions. The 7 and 9 seater categories have a €300 excess according to the published conditions.
What does an excess mean?
It is the portion of a covered damage claim payable by the customer under the contract. It is not a general limit for all damage: exclusions, negligence and other items are governed by the conditions.
What does basic cover include and what additional options are available?
Basic cover and its exclusions are described in the conditions. Some damage is excluded, including bodywork damage over 20 cm and damage caused by negligence. Check additional cover options and prices for your category during booking. You must report damage even with additional cover.
Where do I collect the car at the airport?
The car is handed over in the car park opposite arrivals, without a shuttle to an off-site office. Follow the exact location and procedure in your confirmation; these vary between self-service and staffed pickup.
How do self-service and staffed pickup differ?
With self-service pickup you complete the documents and payment before arrival and receive the location and instructions by WhatsApp. With staffed pickup our team assists you at the agreed location. Read the full explanation and check methods available for your dates.
Will I pay anything extra on arrival?
Check the final price with your selected locations, times, cover and extras. Enter your actual times. The confirmation and instructions specify services and any applicable costs, including the parking procedure.
How should I return the fuel and can I leave the island?
The fuel policy is same/same: return the car with the same amount as at collection. Extra fuel is not refunded. Vehicles must remain in Menorca and cannot be taken to another island. For electric vehicles, check charging and return conditions.
